‘Green Book’ wins best picture at the 91st Academy Awards

New York: Green Book has won the Oscar for best picture at the 91st Academy Awards.

Based on a real-life road trip through the deep south in the early 1960s, Green Book’s victory proved a considerable upset at the awards, after a night largely marked by predictability.

Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek, who essayed the role of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the band Queen, has just won Best Actor in a Leading Role, while Olivia Colman won the Best Actress for her role in ‘The Favourote. Alfonso Cuarón took the best director award for Roma
