SalamAir to expand operations into India, GCC destinations

SalamAir will be launching direct flights from Salalah to India and other international destinations this year.
The airline has opened its first sales office in Salalah, and plans to expand its operation in 2019.
"This year, we are going to start direct flights to some of the GCC destinations like Abu Dhabi and Kuwait from Salalah. Furthermore, we are looking to expand our flights into more international destinations including Indian sub-continent.”- Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir
He added that the operation of these flights depends on the approvals from different authorities and the support from the local stakeholders.
