Muscat: Realax edged past Musef Youngsterz in a penalty shootout to clinch the Curtorim Cup 2019 while Muscat Hammers secured the third position in the one-day-All India 7 a-side football tournament organised by Curtorim Club Muscat at Ministry of Education ground Wattayah. Sixteen teams participated in the tournament.
On the occasion, Armando Colaco (former Indian National Team, Dempo Club and East Bengal Coach) was the chief guest from Goa and Melzer Menezes was the special invitee. Colaco said such types of tournaments will strengthen social bonding as people from different communities get together and play. He presented the trophies and individual awards.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ancess Pinheiro on behalf of the organisers.
