Muscat: Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri, the Minister of Manpower, chaired the first meeting for 2019 of the Supervisory Committee of the Labour Market and Employment Laboratory, which is part of the National Programme for Economic Diversification (Tanfeedh).
The meeting was held in the presence of their excellencies, representatives of the public and private sectors, in addition to specialists from the Implementation Support and Follow-up Unit.
During the meeting, the executive position of the initiatives was reviewed, in addition to the steps to be taken in 2019.
It also discussed the follow-up procedures related to the implementation plans of the initiatives put forth by the Labour Market and Employment Laboratory.
Al Bakri stressed the importance of integration between the role of the ministry and the authorities supervising the targeted sectors to achieve the objectives of the economic diversification programme.
