Envoy releases Omani youth's poem on Indian prime minister Narendra Modi

Muscat: India’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Indra Mani Pandey, released a poem written by Sultan Ahmed Al Mahmodi about India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at a function held at the Embassy of India auditorium.
The ambassador appreciated the young poet for his initiative to create awareness about PM Modi and his development initiatives among the people of Oman through his poem written in Arabic.
The young poet from Oman highlighted in his poem, Modi’s dedication and his efforts aimed at the development and progress of India.
He said he had been inspired by Modi’s recent initiatives and the success of his visits to foreign countries and his inviting people from across the world to India.
The poem has been videographed as a part of the film Swach Bharath directed by Vijeesh Mani and produced by Soumit Jena, both of whom have been inspired by the Prime Minister’s “Mann ki baat” radio programme in support of his Swach Bharath Mission to make India clean.
The ceremony to release the video was attended by around 150 persons, including media persons. It is hoped that the poem by Al Mahmodi will make the people of Oman better informed about the initiatives taken by PM Modi that are aimed at inclusive development of India and expanding its partnership with friendly countries, such as Oman.
