Madayn hosts workshop on Masar new services

Muscat: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) organised on Wednesday a workshop that highlighted a new electronic programme which will be activated through Masar Investment Window.
Targeting the companies that are based in Rusayl Industrial City, the workshop that was held at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat came along the lines of the electronic transformation that is being implemented by Madayn.
According to Madayn’s officials, the electronic programme aims at providing various services required by the investors in Madayn’s industrial cities and the free zone. This shall facilitate the daily transactions in a fast and effective manner, and allow the companies to review and edit their registered data through the programme.
The officials added that the electronic programme has been designed to meet the requirements of the investors in an interactive approach. This will allow the investors to maintain their own databases such as those related to their workforce, investment data, and transactions with the industrial city’s management in such a way that ensures and secures the confidentiality and significance of the data.
The programme will also allow the investors to promote their products and services in general through an electronic linking with the investors’ registered websites. A dedicated electronic platform is also being developed to promote the products and services of the factories and companies that are based in Madayn’s industrial cities and the free zone.
It should be noted that Madayn has established Masar Investment Window to provide integrated services offered by Madayn as well as the services provided by other government bodies through one governmental platform for data exchange and completion of procedures.Masar offers a flexible, easy and transparent interaction between the business community and the government, and provides a reliable and secure environment for the companies to conduct day-to-day transactions with the concerned bodies.
A number of bodies will take part in phase one of the Masar Investment Window initiative, which include Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Public Authority for Electricity and Water, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Royal Oman Police and Sanad Offices.
