Nominations for Majlis Al Shura elections set to be received

Muscat: The Ministry of Interior will receive online, from today to Thursday 21 February, the candidacy application forms for the elections of Majlis Al Shura membership for the 9th term. Last date for withdrawal of candidacy applications shall be 22 August 2019.
The Ministry of Interior urged citizens interested in running as candidates for the membership of Majlis Al Shura for the 9th term and who meet the required terms stipulated by Article ( 34) of the Majlis Al Shura Membership Elections Law to submit their applications through elections website (elections.om) and to attach all required documents.
Applications received after the deadline set for submission of applications or submitted in any manner other than stated above will not be entertained.
