School student drowns in Oman

Muscat: A seventh grader has drowned in Fins in Wilayat Quriyat, authorities have announced.
In a statement online, the Directorate General of Education in North Sharqiyah said: North Sharqiyah Education mourns the death of a seventh grade student who passed away this evening [Tuesday] following a drowning accident in Fins in Wilayat Quriyat."
