Equestrian: International Tent Pegging Federation holds preparatory meeting

MUSCAT: The Executive Committee of the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) held today at its headquarters in Muscat a preparatory meeting chaired by Mohammed bin Issa Al Fayrouz, president of the federation.
The meeting included the discussion of the new decisions to be adopted by ITPF in the coming period, most notably the material support it will provide in the coming period, the adoption of the official passport for the tent pegging horses, and the discussion of the next World Cup in 2021.
The financial report of the Federation for 2018 was discussed, in addition to the formation of the Executive Office of the Federation, the mechanism for the 2021 World Cup, and the quality competitions to be organized by ITPF in the coming period. The meeting reviewed the applications for hosting by the Member States, notably the U-16 Youth Championship and the U-21 Youth Championship, the Pioneers Championship, the University Championship and the Military Tent Pegging Championship. It also discussed the adoption of the issuance of the sports visions law of tent pegging and the organization of courses for the rehabilitation of judges.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Safar al-Hajri, Vice- President of Media and Marketing and Haidar Hussein al-Jumaili, Vice- President for Development and Training, Brendom Meyer, Vice- President for Technical Affairs, Haitham bin Mohammed Jawad Al Lawati, Secretary-General and Salim bin Mohammed al-Balushi, Assistant Secretary- General.
