Muscat: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan who is in Qatar on an official visit was welcomed with a Guard of Honour, Pakistan’s ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf announced.
On his arrival in Doha, Khan was welcomed by Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi. On the second day of his stay, Khan witnessed the Guard of Honour alongside Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Khan also met Qatar's Prime Minister to discuss economic cooperation between their countries.
According to the Government of Pakistan's official twitter handle, "Prime Minister Imran Khan met Prime Minister of Qatar Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani at his residence in Doha.
"Bilateral relations, with a focus on economic cooperation between the two countries, were discussed during the meeting," the statement concluded
