Future vision forum for electric cars organised

Muscat: The second future vision forum for electric cars organised by the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (Riyada), in cooperation with Global EVRT, was held under the patronage of Hilal bin Hamad Al Sarmi, Representative of the Wilayat of Seeb in Majlis Al Shura, in the presence of relevant government and private entities.
The forum addressed a working paper by Qais Al Zakwani, Executive Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority (AER). The important findings of the research discussed the regulatory readiness of the Sultanate for these electric vehicles.
The forum focused on the themes discussed during the dialogue session on strategies, successful experiences and opportunities to use low-emission, environmentally-friendly electric vehicles, discussing innovative challenges, solutions and systems, upgrading infrastructure, and developing technology support with the participation of elite decision makers and experts in the manufacturing and trading of electric vehicles.
In conjunction with the forum, the patron of the event opened an exhibition of the latest innovations in the field of electric cars and their technology support.
