ahlibank’s MyHassad savings account rebranded as Wafra

Muscat: Ahlibank's MyHassad, the savings account offering generous cash prizes, announced today the unveiling of its new name and brand identity. The savings account will now be known as Wafra.
The name Wafra carries an impactful meaning — that of abundance.
Sayyid Khalid Bin Ahmed Al Busaidi was the chief guest of honour at the launch event held on Saturday at the Crowne Plaza in the presence of Hamdan Ali Nasser Al-Hinai, Chairman of the Bank, and Said Abdullah Al Hatmi, Chief Executive Officer, along with management yeam members and the media.
Wafra promises to be bigger, grander, and double rewarding for the customers. Apart from the weekly, monthly, and special occasion prizes, Wafra has now doubled its mega prize Salary for Life by offering two chances of winning the OMR250,000 prize, one being offered in the middle of the year and the other at the end of the year.

And with MyHassad, ahlibank not only gave customers multiple chances to win throughout the years, but also encouraged the habit of saving among the people of the nation. Now with Wafra, the Bank hopes to take our customers on a new journey offering much more and creating more smiles.

The new Wafra prize scheme will reward over 1,000 customers with a total cash prizes above OMR1.3 Million in 2019. This will include OMR500 for 1 lucky winner per week per branch. Each month, six customers will get the chance to win OMR2,000 each along with OMR200 for five children. Special prizes in March, June, and September will offer two customers a chance of winning OMR10,000 each. Also one winner of OMR50,000 for our Premium customers in March and September. Ahlibank also will reward customers on special occasions such as Omani Women’s Day with a OMR500 prize for each woman per branch, and for National Day with OMR1,000 prize each for 49 winners. Our grand Salary for Life of OMR250,000 will be offered twice in 2019 in June and December, paid as OMR1,000 per month for the next 20 years.
