Muscat: Attended by major GCC fuel retail operators, Oman Oil Marketing Company’s (OOMCO) CEO David Kalife recently took part in the second Gas Stations Build Middle East summit held in Abu Dhabi.
As a chairman speaker at this year’s summit, Kalife joined the heated debate to discuss fuel station design mechanics, building requirements and the ever-evolving technologies available in order to lower expenses, while being energy-efficient. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of elevating the consumer experience by providing easier payment methods and improving facilities in stations.
The 2019 edition of the Gas Stations Build Middle East summit brought together key speakers and stakeholders from across the Middle East and Middle East and North Africa (Mena) regions to discuss how to approach the rising demand for fuel.
Kalife, together with CEOs from the oil and gas industry, shared their mission and vision for the coming years. The summit hosted an exhibition where technology providers showcased the latest products that can be incorporated to build sustainable fuel stations. The summit also hosted a workshop on how to expand retail networks to countries outside the Gulf Cooperation Council.
