His Majesty receives invite to attend session of Arab League Summit

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said received a written message from President Beji Caid Essebsi of the Republic of Tunisia inviting His Majesty to attend the 30th ordinary session of the Arab League Summit to be held in Tunis during March 2019.
The message was received by His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan when he received in his office yesterday Habib Essid, Special Adviser to the Tunisian President, Envoy of the President of Tunisia.
During the meeting, the Tunisian envoy conveyed greetings of President Essebsi to the country’s Monarch along with his best wishes of permanent health, wellbeing and a long life to His Majesty, and the Omani people further progress and development.
On his turn, Sayyid Asa’ad asked the Tunisian guest to convey greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the Tunisian President, and the Tunisian brotherly people further progress and prosperity and growth.
The meeting was attended by the two advisers at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and the Tunisian Ambassador to Oman.
