Omani arrested in hit and run accident

Muscat: An Omani who ran over a person and fled the scene of the accident has been arrested.
According to officials, the accident took place on October 4, 2018.
A Royal Oman Police spokesman said: "The Khaboura police station led by the department in North Batinah arrested a citizen accused of running over a person in Al Mutamar area in the wilayat of Suwaiq, and escaping the place of the accident leaving the dead body behind."
ROP added, “Legal action has been taken against the accused.”
