Sunaidi to represent Oman at World Economic Forum in Davos

Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Dr. Ali bin Masoud bin Ali Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Planning will head the Sultanate’s delegation to the 49th annual meeting of the four-day World Economic Forum, which begins today.
The Forum’s agenda includes issues related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and some of the various economic, social and political aspects facing the global community.
Other meetings
On the sidelines of the forum, meetings will be held between representatives of countries, private sector institutions and civil society organisations.
More than 2,500 people, including about 70 heads of state and government from around the world, are expected to participate in the forum.
