Illegally built facility on government land demolished in Oman

Muscat: A commercial facility that was illegally built on government land was demolished, Muscat Municipality has announced.

Officials explained that the structure lacked the required licence to be built on government land.

In a statement online, Muscat Municipality said, “The legal department of the Muscat Municipality in Bausher, in collaboration with the Public Prosecution, has implemented a judicial ruling on the removal of facilities on government land [that was built] without a licence.”
