Child in Oman gets stuck in washing machine

Muscat: A child managed to get stuck in a washing machine in the Wilayat of Shinas, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has announced.
Officials revealed that the child was rescued and is doing fine now.
In a statement online, PACDA said, “The rescue team at the department of civil defence and ambulance in Northern Batinah managed to rescue a child who was stuck inside a washing machine. [The incident took place] in the Wilayat of Shinas and the child is in good health.”
The authority calls on parents to monitor their children and not allow them to tamper with electrical appliances at home to avoid any sort of risk that could arise.
