Muscat: Mohammed bin Salim Al Toobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs yesterday announced the conclusion of 'Glorious November Round the World’ initiative, which gifted His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said 48,000 greetings in different languages.
The greetings portrayed a picture of the achievements made during the Blessed Renaissance.
The initiative was launched last November on the occasion of the 48th Glorious National Day by ‘Oman Qaboos’ website; a website in 30 languages dedicated to shedding light on the personality of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos..
Hamoud bin Mohammed Al Azri, General Supervisor of “Oman Qaboos’ website gave a briefing on the initiatives and the developments it witnessed since its launch. He highlighted the role played by the Sultanate’s embassies in following up the greetings each in his own language.

Special occasion
Afterwards, the Al Toobi received the commemorative plaque of this special occasion. He said: “This precious country has granted us, we Omanis, all means of care, stability, and unlimited support throughout all these glorious years ; therefore, we will never be able to pay it back regardless of the expenses or the sacrifices we make.”
He also added that the national initiatives that have reached universality, and which have been launched by this national project are very important for the correlations between the Sultanate and the world which loves this country and appreciates the efforts of His Majesty at all levels. “I congratulate the supervisors of this personal and national project, and I support their efforts for more excellence and tenderness for the love of our cherished leader”, he said.
It is also worth mentioning that “The Glorious November around the World” is an “electronic booklet” initiative which was inaugurated by Oman Qaboos website on the occasion of the glorious 48th National Day celebrations.
Participation
The initiative was marked by the participation of several peoples who expressed their sincerest regards, each with their own language, reaching more than 48,000 congratulations. Many accredited embassies have cooperated with the website administration through supervising and reviewing the congratulations, each in its own language. Great efforts filled with dedication and loyalty to this precious Home and to His Majesty were put together.
