Over 150 kg of spoiled food destroyed, five shops shut down in Oman

Muscat: Municipal authorities in Oman have destroyed 153 kg of spoiled foodstuff, in addition to shutting down five shops, Barka Municipality has announced.

This was done when authorities carried out an inspection campaign in the Wilayat of Barka.

In a statement online, Barka Municipality said, "During the campaign, five facilities were closed, 74 health violations were issued and 153 kg of spoiled foodstuff was destroyed.”
