Muscat: Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health received the Best Quality Leadership Award 2018 (the Platinum Category) at his office during meeting with Dr. Qamrah Said Al Saririah, Director General of Quality Assurance Centre, in the presence of Dr. Ali bin Talib Al Hinai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs.
The Ministry of Health has accomplished a remarkable achievement on international level by attaining the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) Best Quality Leadership Award 2018 (the Platinum Category) as a recognition of the ministry’s persistent effort to advance the Sultanate health services.
The award recognises the organisations, companies and public administrations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership by taking innovative and initiative-driven steps to improve and advance the development of quality.
The awards programme is run by the ESQR, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Oman Health Ministry received the Best Quality Leadership Award in an official award ceremony held in Las Vegas, USA, on 10 December 2018 in the presence of the Director General of Quality Assurance Centre.
The Ministry of Health has received the ESQR’s International Diamond Prize for Excellence in Quality 2017, at a ceremony held in Vienna, Austria last year.
