A total of 10 expat women have been arrested for violating the residence law and committing acts contrary to public morals.
According to the Royal Oman Police, the arrests were made in Sohar and the women were of “Asian nationality”.
However, no information on their country of origin was made available.
Officials added that legal action has been taken against the accused.
