This village will soon have Oman's longest zip-line

Muscat: Oman's longest zip-line will be built in Al Hamra, according to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism.

The zip line will be operated in the Misfat Al Abriyeen village, in order to enhance tourist activity in the area.

"The Ministry of Tourism signed an agreement for the implementation and operation of the Zip Line project in the Misfat Al Abriyeen village in Wilayat Al Hamra," and online statement read.

The operation of the project will be shared between Al Masfah Company as the owner, Oman Refreshments Company as the funder, and the Ministry of Tourism as technical advisor and supervisor of the project.

"The aim of the project, which will be the longest after its completion at the level of the Sultanate, is to prepare a path for the enthusiasts of this type of adventure tourism in the village," added the ministry.
