Equestrian: Sayyid Shabib to preside over annual horse race

MUSCAT: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Shabib bin Taimour Al Said will preside today over the Royal Cavalry annual horse race which will be held at the Timsa Racetrack in the Wilayat of Nizwa.
The event is organised by the Royal Court Affairs, represented by the Royal Cavalry. The race will include five rounds for Pure Arabian horses, including Hisn Al Shomoukh in which the horse riders will compete for the His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Cup. The race will include a number of equestrian performances.
