Equestrian: Al Tooqi to compete in showjumping championship in Paris

MUSCAT: Oman’s Olympic horse rider Sultan Hamood Al Tooqi will participate, in the finals of the Longines Masters Championships along with 40 top riders from around the world, which will be held in the French capital Paris from November 29 - December 2.
Sultan Al Tooqi Al Tooqi who is sponsored by Amouage will be riding three horses during the competition.
Talobiya who won the Oman championship last year and is also the recipient of the Ministry of Sports Affaris Shield, will compete at the open height of 140-145cms. Hibatallah, a locally bred of the Olympic Equestrian Centre will compete in the height of 130-135 cms and Camy Boy, a new horse joining the stables of the Olympic Equestrian Centre, at a height of 125 cms.
Coach Hamood bin Sulaiman Al Tooqi, will be supervising the training of the riders during the finals of the Longines Masters.
During the annual showjumping qualifiers in The Netherlands, Sultan Al Tooqi claimed the third place and a bronze medal to qualify for the finals in Paris.
