Muscat: The Ministry of Information released its annual book (Oman 2018), which included eleven topics highlighting the achievements made during march of the Omani Renaissance under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said in various governorates of the Sultanate.
The book comes as part of celebrations of the 48th Glorious National Day. The topics of the book are “The Leader’s Wisdom Sets Clear Landmarks for Omani diplomacy”, “Modern State Institutions”, “Integrated Judicial System Strengthens the State of Institutions”, “Tolerance :a Consistent Approach to Omani Personality”, “Council of Oman”, “Omani Media : Bright Picture of Development and Construction March”, “Security :a Cornerstone of Growth and Prosperity”, “Developmental Achievements and Future Aspirations”, “Heritage, Culture and Arts: Windows for Oman’s Cultural Face”, “The Logistics Sector : an Essential Foundation for Economic Diversification”, “Economic Development” and “Modern Facilities and a Clean Environment”.
The chapters of the book have been introduced by visionary sayings of His Majesty the Sultan, talking about the process of development and construction, which is entering new stages towards further development of modern state institutions to meet the requirements of continuous economic and social progress and to respond to the ambitions and aspirations of the Omani citizens in the second decade of the 21st century.
The annual Oman Book highlights the projects and achievements made in the Sultanate.
The book is a reference for the media, researchers, students and those interested in the Omani affairs. The Ministry of Information will distribute it to the Sultanate’s embassies abroad to underline the Sultanate and its tourism, economic and cultural potentials.
The book will be soon released in other languages.
The English version is in its final stage. The French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and Urdu languages versions will be made available very soon. -ONA
