Top universities set to participate in Global Higher Education Exhibition in Oman

Muscat: Renowned global universities will set up their stalls at the 17th edition of Global Higher Education Exhibition (Ghedex), scheduled to be held from April 19 – 21 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
It’s an annual event which is held under the patronage of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).

Last edition of Ghedex broke sixteen years record by attracting over 25,000 visitors as over 200 top-notch universities and colleges from over 23 countries participated with 170 educational bodies and institutions accounting for international participation and 30 for local participation, says a press release.
“We have already received participation for Ghedex 2016 from a number of leading universities from UK including University of Stirling, University of Hull, University Of Liverpool, University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), University of Salford, University of Greenwich (London), University of Exeter, University of Portsmouth and University of Derby.
Other universities of note that have confirmed their presence at Ghedex include California State University, Fresno from USA; Aga Khan University from Pakistan; the Student Campus from Malta; and Oman Medical College & IDP Education PtY Ltd from Oman. Ghedex will also receive support from DAAD German Academic Exchange Service as silver sponsor and Majan College (University College) as lead sponsor,” said Ashit Barnes, Exhibition director- OITE Trade Fairs.
