Muscat: Three students participants of the Falling Walls Competition organised annually by The Research Council have won Arab and international competitions.
Student Hafsa Al Ansari, a holder of masters degree from the British University of Huddersfield has been granted a scholarship for a doctorate degree (PhD) in recognition for her excellence in the course. Hafsa secured the second place in the 2016 Falling Walls competition.
Salim Al Ka'abi has qualified to the finals of the TV competition of (Science Stars). Salim Al Ka'abi secured the first place in the 2016 Falling Walls competition.
Basma Al Kiyomi, who secured the second place in the 2017 Falling Walls Competition went on to win the first place (in the science section) in Nasser bin Hamad International Competition for Youth Innovations, held last April, in Bahrain.
The foundation of their international achievements was laid with the participations which started with the Falling Walls Competition organised by the Research Council in cooperation with the German Falling Walls Corporation.
