Muscat: The Supreme Committee for the National Day Celebrations has announced completion of all preparations for the 48th Glorious National Day celebrations to be held on Sunday.
Sheikh Saba’a bin Hamdan Al Saadi, Secretary General of the Committee said that His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said would preside over the military parade to be organised at the Military Parade Ground at the Headquarters of the Royal Guard of Oman ( RGO), in the Wilayat of Seeb.
“On the occasion of the celebrations of the 48th National Day, the governorates would organise receptions with the participation of citizens. A number of development projects would be initiated including Al Batinah Expressway Project, Packages (1 to 6) and Duqm Airport,” he said.
On the occasion, he expressed his greetings and wishes to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
