New airport officially opens in Oman

Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications has officially launched Duqm Airport in a grand opening ceremony.

The airport has the capacity to receive half a million passengers, according to the ministry.

The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, and Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications.
