Non-resident Indians who live in Oman and other parts of the world, can now register to vote in elections taking place in India.

NRIs who are interested in casting their vote can register as NRI voters on the home page of the Indian Election Commission’s website.

There they will be redirected to a form, where they can enter all their details.

NRIs who register on the website are also required to sign a declaration, which states that they are Indian citizens who reside overseas
