The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) in Oman has helped two consumers recover OMR49,260.
The consumers filed complaints after the cars they bought developed mechanical issues and didn't work well even after repairing them.
"The complaints department at the authority received complaints from two consumers, each of whom purchased a vehicle. After receiving their purchases, the cars exhibited consecutive faults, which did not disappear even after the vehicles were repaired. That drove them to file complaints.” - Public Authority for Consumer Protection.
PACP then reached out to the dealerships and managed to negotiate friendly settlements, which resulted in the return of OMR41,760 and OMR7,500 respectively.
