Municipality clamps down on illegal vendors in Oman

Muscat: A number of illegal vendors were detained by officials from Muscat Municipality in the Wilayat of Seeb, the authority has announced.
This clampdown, officials said, was part of Muscat Municipality’s ongoing campaign.
In a statement online, Muscat Municipality said, “The Urban Inspection Department of Muscat Municipality in Seeb together with the Health Affairs [department], confiscated goods displayed by mobile vendors at the public square of al Mabela industrial area and north al Mabela.”
