Watchdog helps recover over OMR52,000 in October

The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) in Seeb helped consumers recover OMR52,590 in October 2018.

The money was recovered through “friendly settlements", authorities have said.

The largest amount was recovered from the labour services sector with a total of OMR17,156, while OMR10,216 was recovered from the
electronics sector.

A total of OMR9,661 was returned by the construction sector and OMR1,370 was recovered from workshops that repair vehicles.
