Muscat: Selected by His Majesty the Sultan, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, will attend the opening ceremony of Muscat International Airport on Sunday.
Muscat International Airport, which is overseen by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, has a passenger terminal that boasts the capacity for 20 million passengers per year, a 4 km runway, a 103-metre air observation tower, an air cargo terminal, and a catering terminal, as well as an aircraft maintenance building and other airport terminals.
