Bodies and debris were recovered in Indonesia late Monday after a passenger plane crashed into the sea with 189 people on board.
Search and rescue teams brought the remains to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta where they were transferred to a police hospital for identification.
Officials now acknowledge there are likely to be no survivors.
