Ministry issues new regulation for non-profit organisations in Oman

Muscat: Mosques, churches, and embassies among other non-profit organisations, must now register with Invest Easy, according to a regulation by the Ministry of Manpower.
Officials said that this was decided to help non-profit organisations benefit from the Ministry’s e-services.
In a statement online, the Ministry said, “Starting from 1/11/2018, non-profit organisations such as embassies, mosques, churches, sports clubs, law and consultation firms, association, and community schools, must register with the electronic portal Invest Easy, at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in order to benefit from the ministry's e-services.”
