Woman stranded in a wadi rescued

Muscat: A woman who was stranded in a wadi in Muscat Governorate was rescued by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), authorities have confirmed.

Officials said that the woman was doing fine.

In a statement online ROP said "A woman was stranded in a wadi behind the Ministry of Housing. She was rescued by the police and is doing fine.”

Elsewhere, the ROP reported that two people were trapped in a vehicle in Sohar, while a number of people were also trapped in their vehicle in Bowshar and Amerat.
