EduTraC Oman connects local, foreign varsities

Muscat: The fifth edition of the Higher Education, Training and Career Expo (EduTraC Oman 2018) was opened at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre yesterday under the auspices of Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower.
After opening EduTraC Oman 2018, the chief guest said that organising this event comes at a suitable time for the Sultanate and the region in light of the changes and needs of the labour market and the changes related to the 4th Industrial Revolution.
He said that the opportunities showcased by universities, colleges and higher training centres in the exhibition affirm the future outlook for the change that will be made by the 4th Industrial Revolution, especially with the availability of programmes that enable them to deal with the next stage commensurate with the needs of the labour market.
The three-day exhibition, which is attended by more than 110 local and international higher education institutions, as well as training institutes and higher education services offices, is a bridge that connects international and local universities from all over the world and students interested in studying.
The exhibition includes local, regional and international higher education institutions, expanding the options for students and visitors wishing to enrol in accredited universities.
