Fire breaks out at construction site in Oman

Muscat: A fire broke out at the construction site of a shopping centre in Al Seeb, the Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has announced.

According to officials, no injuries were recorded in the ‘minor’ incident and firefighters were able to put out the blaze in time.

Talking about the incident, a spokesperson for PACDA said, "The fire started in an under-construction shopping centre in al Seeb last [Wednesday] evening."

According to PACDA’s online statement, "The authority was able to control a fire that began in an under-construction shopping centre without recording any injuries."
