Air force officer reviews military exercises

Muscat: Al Musannah Air Base continues activating its operational roles at the air operation theatre according to the Swift Sword 3 military exercises currently carried out by the Sultan’s Armed Forces in cooperation with the other military, security and civil organisations in the Sultanate with participation of the Royal British Armed Forces.
Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali Al Ubaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Head of the Exercise Control) yesterday visited Al Musannah Air Base to review the current events and readability for the subsequent stages for the Omani and British air forces. The Air Vice Marshall, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Head of the Exercise Control) and senior officers were briefed on the achievements made and the air duties as well as the military measures taken with the British air forces to address the hypothetical air challenges.
At the end of the visit, the Air Vice Marshall, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Head of the Exercise Control) praised the roles and effective efforts by Al Musannah Air Base and the air support provided to the land and marine troops deployed at the operation theatre.
