Oman weather: Quriyat records highest rainfall

Muscat: Quriyat received the highest rainfall, at 67mm, as rains lashed Oman between October 18 and 21, the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources said.
Nizwa received the second highest rain at 64mm during this same period. Rustaq averaged 34mm, Dima Wa Tayeen 33mm, Sohar 31mm, Khasab 28mm, Ibri 16mm, Buraimi 15mm and Sur 2mm.
According to the rainfall monitoring centres, rain fell in many governorates in Muscat, Dhairah, Dhakliyah, Buriami, North and South Sharqiyah, South and North Batinah, leading to the overflowing of wadis.
