Electricity poles in Oman go up in flames

Muscat: Electricity poles caught fire South Sharqiyah governorate, the Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance announced.

PACDA said in a statement: "Firefighter team from the civil defense and ambulance in South Al Sharqiyah governorate managed to control two fires on electricity poles in Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, without recording injuries.

The Authority has advised citizens and residents to avoid parking vehicles near the electricity stations and poles.
