Two siblings drown at Oman beach

Muscat: Two siblings have died after drowning in Sawadi beach, the Directorate General of Education in North Al Batinah said.

The education authority put out a statement of condolence to the parents of the two students.

“An eighth grade boy and a sixth grade girl drowned on Sawadi beach,” the Directorate said.

A few hours prior, the directorate also issued another statement of condolences to the family of a 12th grader who drowned in Wadi Al Huqain.”
