Temporary parking restrictions introduced in Muscat

Muscat: Royal Oman Police has announced a three-day ban on parking on the side of some parts of Sultan Qaboos Street and Al Seeb Street.

In a statement online, police said, "The Directorate of Public Relations announces that vehicles are not allowed to be parked by the side of Sultan Qaboos St. from Burj Al Sahwah Roundabout, all the way through Darsait, Qurum, and Wadi Kabir, to Al Bustan Palace Hotel, and by the side of Al Seeb St from Burj Al Sahwah Roundabout to Bait Al Barakah Roundabout."

Police added that this ban will begin on "Sunday, October 21, 2018, at 7 pm until Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 4 pm,” urging all drivers to abide by the announcement and to cooperate with police officers.
