Child attacked by stray dogs in Oman suburb

Muscat: A toddler was attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Athaiba, Royal Oman Police (ROP) has confirmed.
The two-year-old boy was playing near his house with other kids when the dogs attacked, and is still in the ICU at Khoulah Hospital.
"The incident occurred yesterday [Sunday]. The Muscat police force carried out a campaign against the stray dogs in the areas. The boy sustained medium to severe injuries and was transported to Khoulah Hospital for medical treatment. He is still in intensive care unit at the hospital," an official from ROP said.
The boy was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
