Military exercises at Musandam centre continue

Muscat: All tactical units of Musandam Command Sector continued carrying out their operational roles and responsibilities at (Al Shomoukh 2) and (Swift Sword 3) military exercises currently implemented by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), other military and security units in cooperation with a number of civil organisations.
On this occasion, Maj.Gen Mattar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) (Commander of the Joint Forces) visited Musandam Command Sector, to inspect forces taking part in the exercises. The tour of RAO Commander included the different combat, land, air and navy formations.

During the visit, he reviewed the field commands, cells as well as administrative and technical departments.
RAO Commander was accompanied during the visit by Brigadier Nusair bin Nasser Al Jamodi, Musandam Sector Commander and Commodore Sultan bin Abdullah Al Alawi, Commander of Musandam Navy Base.
