26 expats rescued from sea, 102 evacuated in Dhofar

A total of 102 people have been evacuated from Mirbat, and another 773 sheltered from the tropical storm Luban.

Another 26 "Asian nationals" were also rescued from two ships at sea, after Coast Guard police received distress calls.

Citizens and residents that live near the beach in the wilayat of Mirbat have been evacuated by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance in Dhofar.

Meanwhile, the National Committee for Civil Defence (NCCD) said that 773 people have been given shelter in various Wilayats.
