Omani ambassadors present credentials to Malaysian PM and Romanian President

Kuala Lumpur/ Bucharest: Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysian Prime Minister received Sheikh Al Abbas bin Ibrahim Al Harthi, the Sultanate’s ambassador to Malaysia, in his office yesterday.
Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania, received the credentials of Dr. Ahmed bin Salim Ba Omar, the Sultanate’s non-resident ambassador accredited to Romania.
The Oman’s ambassador to Malaysia conveyed the greetings and wishes of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir.
Bilateral relations
During the meeting they exchanged cordial conversation and reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and boosting cooperation between the two countries in various spheres.
During the meeting with the Romanian President, the Omani ambassador conveyed the greetings and wishes of good health and happiness to the president along with His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of further progress and prosperity to his country’s people.
In his turn, President Iohannis asked the ambassador to convey his sincere greetings and wishes to His Majesty the Sultan wishing the Omani people further progress and prosperity under His Majesty’s wise leadership.
President Iohannis wished the ambassador success in performing his assigned duties along with his wishes of further progress and development to the relations between the two countries.
