Tropical storm Luban: Be careful on this road, warns PACDA

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has asked those taking the Hasik road in Al Shuwaimiyah to exercise caution as it has been witnessing flooding and landslides.

Rocks and mud can be seen scattered on the road in the aftermath of heavy rains caused by the tropical storm Luban.

“The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance calls upon people taking the Hasik road in Al Shuwaimiyah to exercise caution as wadis have been overflowing and rocks have been falling onto this road in the Dhofar governorate,” PACDA tweeted.

Earlier, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) had announced that they had been actively involved in clearing rocks off the Hasik road.
